Ughelli NUJ Chapel Chairman, Sunday Apah Loses Father-In-Law

Pa. Anthony Fakorede, the beloved father-in-law of Chief Sunday Apah, Chairman of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Ughelli Correspondents Chapel is dead.

This is contained in a statement by the Ughelli Correspondents’s Chapel Chairman and obtained by Africa Investigative Magazine (AFIMAG).

Pa Fakorede was a respected figure in Ifon community, headquarters of Ose Local Government Area until he passed away peacefully on 11th November, 2023 at the age of 95.

According to the statement Late Pa. Fakorede who was born on November 10, 1928, in Ifon, lived a remarkable life dedicated to service, family, and community.

He said, “He was highly regarded for his contributions to the local community and his unwavering commitment to the betterment of society.

“Throughout his years, Pa. Fakorede actively participated in various social and philanthropic initiatives, leaving a lasting impact on those around him.

“Papa’s memory will live on through the countless lives he touched and the positive impact he made in his community. His legacy of compassion, dedication, and service will continue to inspire others for generations to come,” it added.
