BREAKING: Gunmen Abduct Eight Islamiyya Pupils, Teacher In Katsina

Gunmen have on Wednesday abducted eight pupils and a teacher of Islamiyya school at Sakkai village, Faskari Local Government Area of Katsina State.

Africa Investigative Magazine gathered that the abductors arrived at the school when the pupils were about close for the day.

The gunmen shot sporadically in the air causing a commotion in the school premises and its environs.

The perpetrators forced the teacher and the pupils on their motorcycles and zoomed off towards the forest.

The ugly incident shot down Islamiyya School activities on August 18, 2021.

The Public Relations Officer, Katsina State police command, SP Gambo Isah, was yet to comment on the incident.
