Bernardo Silva Insists On Man City Stay, Declines Transfer Rumours
Bernardo Silva has no interest in another Premier League club and more Manchester City transfer rumours.
The 27 years old has rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur as part of any potential transfer with Harry Kane going the other way.
Silva is a Portuguese professional footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder or a winger for Premier League club Manchester City and the Portugal national team.
That’s according to the latest rumours doing the rounds, with the Portuguese winger’s future still a hot topic of conversation with 12 days of the transfer window remaining.
Born in Lisbon, Silva is keen to leave the Etihad Stadium before the window shuts on 31 August, with the arrival of Jack Grealish for £100 million earlier this summer pushing him further down the pecking order.
Silva who came through Benfica’s youth academy will be able to leave during the current window if a bid comes in for him, with the former Benfica and Monaco man keen on a move to Spain.
Barcelona, Atletico Madrid and Juventus are said to be interested in his services, but a lack of available funds means the move isn’t particularly likely, although there is some hope that a compromise could be found before deadline day.
Elsewhere, Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic has also been linked with a move to the Etihad as an alternative to Kane. The Serbian striker scored 21 goals last season in Serie A and has been tipped to leave in a €70m deal with Atletico Madrid and Tottenham also linked to him. However, according to The Athletic again, he is not a City target.
