See Why Kaiama Emirate Wants To Honor Senate President In Kwara

Nigerian Senate President, Ahmed Lawan would on March 20, 2022, be honoured with a chieftaincy title by Kaima Emirate Council, Kwara State.

The purpose of the honour was to recognize the contribution of the Senate President towards the development of Kwara State.

Lawan would be turbaned as the Magayaki of Kaiama Emirate, which according to the council means the lead warrior that ensures the Emirate is protected, survuives and progresses.

Recall that the Emir of Daura, Umar-Faruk Umar, turbaned the minister of transportation, Rotimi Amaechi as the Dan Amanar Daura, which means ‘Trusted Son of Daura’.
