2022: Delta Speaker Predicts Better Year, Urges Deltans To Keep Hope Alive

The Speaker of the Delta State House of Assembly, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori has asked Nigerians, especially Deltans to keep faith alive, urging them to pray for peace and prosperity of the state.

The House Speaker who predicated a better the year 2022 urged Deltans to be consistent in prayers to ensure a peaceful and prosperous new year.

In a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr. Dennis Otu, and made available to journalists, Rt Hon Oborevwori charged Deltans to remain focused as 2021 has become a history despite its challenges.

The Speaker in the statement thanked Deltans for their commitments and support toward moving the state to a greater height.

Part of the statement said; “New Year is a time when hope is rekindled. I am confident that with renewed hope and commitment, the challenges of 2021 will be history in this Year 2022.

“Let us, therefore, keep hope and faith alive in the New Year because better days are here again.

“On behalf of my constituents and family, I wish Deltans and residents a joyful and prosperous New Year. Celebrate safely and we should not relent in our prayers for the administration of our dynamic Governor, His Excellency, Senator Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa,” he said.
