Ogun Places N50m Bounty On Finance Director’s Killers

The Ogun State Government has declared a reward of N50 million for anyone who would provide accurate information to result in the arrest of suspects responsible for the killing of Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi, the former Director of Finance and Administration at Governor Dapo Abiodun’s office.
Recall that Oyekanmi, aged 51, was shot by gunmen on November 29 at the Kuto Flyover Bridge in Abeokuta.
The government, in a statement, assured that information provided would be treated with the utmost confidentiality.
The statement reads, “The Ogun State Government has announced a reward of fifty (50) million naira for anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the killers of the state’s Director of Finance and Administration (DFA), Mr. Taiwo Oyekanmi, on 29th November, 2023 in Abeokuta.
“Anyone with relevant details is encouraged to contact the provided telephone numbers: 08037441955, 08033074371, 08081775020, 08034062773, 08032136765.
“Oyekanmi, along with two others, was confronted by armed assailants while on his way back to the Governor’s Office, carrying money reportedly withdrawn from two commercial banks in the Abeokuta metropolis.”
