The management of Admiralty University of Nigeria (ADUN) has intensified efforts to attain global standards in the furnishing of its hostels, classrooms, offices and auditorium as part of its commitment to providing a world-class learning environment.

The Vice-Chancellor of ADUN, Professor Christopher Ogbogbo, disclosed this during a meeting with representatives of H.H Comprehensive Equipment Solutions Limited at his office in Ibusa, Delta State.

Professor Ogbogbo said the university’s drive for excellence should extend beyond attracting students and lecturers to embracing global best practices in campus facilities and infrastructure.

He noted that quality facilities would provide a conducive environment for teaching, learning, knowledge generation and the effective dissemination of knowledge.

According to him, the initiative aligns with the university’s vision of being locally impactful and internationally competitive.

Earlier, the Co-founder of H.H Comprehensive Equipment Solutions Limited, Mrs. Zelin Shi, said the company had spent nearly two decades building expertise in the industry.

She stated that the firm had recorded remarkable achievements in China and was eager to contribute to educational development in Nigeria.

According to her, the company entered the Nigerian market with enthusiasm and a strong commitment to supporting the growth of the education sector.

Mrs. Shi added that the company’s expansion into Nigeria would not have been possible without the support of key stakeholders, particularly the management of ADUN.

She commended the university’s management for providing the opportunity to establish a partnership with the company, expressing confidence that the collaboration would contribute significantly to enhancing the institution’s physical infrastructure.

Those present at the meeting included the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Navy Captain (Prof.) Isa Rambo Saidu; the Registrar, Navy Captain Ahmed Tijjani Abdullahi; the Bursar, Commodore Emmanuel Onu; and the University Librarian, Navy Commander Emmanuel Ameobi.
