Who Is Ekenedilichukwu Eric Nwenweh?

Ekenedilichukwu Ugochukwu Eric Nwenweh, popularly known as Ken Erics Ugo was born in Kano State.

He was born on February 28, 1985 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Chukwuemeka Nwenweh of Enugwu- Ukwu, Anambra State, Nigeria.

He attended Binta Mustapha Science Nursery and Primary School, Kano State and Dennis Memorial Grammar School (DMGS) Onitsha, Anambra State.

As a child, Ken Erics demonstrated keen interest in arts. He holds a degree in Theatre Arts and Master’s degree in Theatre and Film Studies at Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State.

His orange in acting ripped in 2001 when he played his first movie role in “Holy Prostitute”. Ken Eric played a minor role as a medical doctor and appeared in three scenes.

2012 was a year of reckoning. He was featured as Ugo in movie entitled, “The Illiterate”. This movie exposed him to greater opportunities and deepened his root in Nollywood.

The young and vibrant artist is also an author whose book (Cell 2) has helped a quite number of Nigerians to achieve academic excellence as well as stage productions.

One who sows munificently reaps munificently. The young actor won the award for Best Supporting Actor at the City People Entertainment Award and the Best Lead Actor at the Afrifimo Award in the United States in 2014.

Ekenedilichukwu Ugochukwu Eric Nwenweh professionally known as Ken Erics Ugo also won the City People Entertainment Award in 2017 as Best Actor of the year.

Meanwhile, in December 2018, Ken Erics released his first music album, “Inozikwa Omee”. He was also nominated for the Golden Awards for Best Supporting Actor same year.

Well, a lot of water has passed through the bridge. Erics is a multiple award winner, actor, film maker, writer and musician.
