Dispatch Rider Caught With A Baby In Dispatch Box In Lagos
A dispatch rider, on Saturday March 12, 2022, was caught with a child at Sangotedo, Eti-Osa local government area, Lagos State.
The rider whose name was unknown at press time, was caught carrying a baby inside his dispatch box.
In a video clip that went viral, the dispatch rider carried a young man who had a toddler on his arm before a child fell off the box.

In a one minute and eleven seconds video clip, the dispatch rider was severely beaten for allegedly stealing a child.
A source who preferred an anonymity told Africa Investigative Magazine that the suspect was intercepted as cry of a baby was heard inside his box.

Hear him: “He was held at the traffic as we hear the cry of a baby inside his box. Some people raised alarm and the young man was ceased immediately.
“The angry mob gave him a beaten of his life and was about to set him ablaze before some security men to take him away.

It was hovever, not clear if the suspect was arrested as the state police spokesman, CSP Adekunle Ajisebutu stated that the matter has not been reported at any police station.
Adekunle acknowledged seeing the video circulating on the social media alleging that a middle aged man suspected to be a dispatch rider stole a child.
