Nigerian singer and owner of Fly Boy Inc., Kizz Daniel’s latest release, ” Buga ” has become the most Shazamed song in the world.
The Shazam application, owned by Apple and developed by Shazam entertainment, is used to identify music, movies, advertising and television shows.
Based on a short sample played using the microphone on the device announced via their official twitter page, the company congratulated the Nigerian star saying, “Big congrats to @Kizz Daniel! Buga is the most Shazamed song in the world.”

With 793,363 Shazam in two weeks, kizz Daniel’s “Buga” which was produced by Tekno and released May 03, 2022, became a viral sensation with its signature dance on social media including Tik Tok.
“Buga” has topped major charts in Africa, hitting one million streams in seven days of release on Boom play; 5.1 million views on YouTube on the official lyric video.
It has about 11.4 million equivalent streams and 47.5 million in radio reach (No. 2 debut on radio) which set a new record for the song with the biggest total activity in history.
