Ronaldo Named In The Worst Team Of 2022 World Cup
Cristiano Ronaldo has been enlisted in the worst XI from the 2022 World Cup after suffering a a tough time with Portugal at the tournament in Qatar.
The football superstar netted once for his country and was benched by Fernando Santos for their clash against Switzerland before shown the exit door in quarter-final by Morocco.
Ronaldo’s agent, however, threatened to quit the Portuguese camp during a tensed meeting with Santos after he discovered that Ronaldo was excluded for the Switzerland game. Though, the claim was quickly denied by the country’s FA and the player.
Nevertheless, according to statistics provided by Sofascore, Ronaldo was incorporated as part of the worst team of the World Cup.

The worst XI team is premised on Sofascore’s investigations which provides each player with a score out of 10 for their renditions at the tournament. To be included, players had to have made a minimum of four appearances in Qatar.
Ronaldo was named in the Sofascore side after scoring just 6.46. The Portuguese forward is partnered up front by Lautaro Martinez, despite Argentina lifting the trophy following their success on penalties in the finals against France.

Martinez could not score for Argentina in Qatar in 148 minutes of action across the entire tournament and was given a rating of only 6.35.
Chelsea and Senegalese goalkeeper, Edouard Mendy was also among list by Sofascore in its worst XI with a rating of just 6.30. US star. Sergino Dest is contracted to Barcelona but is on loan at AC Milan. He got a minor rating of 6.50.

Kamil Glik and Bartosz Bereszyski of Poland, and Senegal centre back Abdou Diallo finished off the back four.
Also, Jackson Irvine and Mathew Leckie of Australia were picked in the midfield alongside South Korea’s Hwang In-beom and Switzerland’s Ruben Vargas.
