Man Who Defiles Sacred Altar To Win N20,000 Bet Remanded In Prison

Nura Usman has been remanded in Kaduna State correctional center for defecating in the mosque to win a N20, 000 bet.

Also remanded by a Sharia Court in Magajin Gari, Kaduna State, was Adamu Dauda who placed the bet.

The duo was handed over to the Tudun Wada Police Station on April 11 by the community people.

It was learned that Usman was seen around 2:00 pm excreting in a mosque at Alkalawa Road, Tudun Wada, Kaduna, while Dauda watched from behind.

Dauda has promised to give Usman the sum of N20, 000 (Twenty Thousand Naira) if he could freely discharge from his anus to the sacred house.

They were arraigned on April 11, 2022 by Tudun Police Station for inciting violence and public nuisance.

The presiding judge, Malam Rilwanu Kyaudai, however, adjourned the case till April 28 for the police to provide witnesses.
