Police Arraign Party Organizer Who Uses Petrol As Souvenir.

A socialite, Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl who used petrol for sourvenirs at her party in Lagos has been arraigned by Lagos State Police Command.

She was arraigned on March 14, 2022 at the Special Offences Mobile Court of Lagos State, Ikeja Magisterial District, Oshodi.

It could be recalled that the state commissioner of police, Abiodun Alabi ordered her arrest after she shared kegs of petrol to people who attended her party in the face of fuel scarcity.

Her action was captured in footage that went viral on social media.

Ogbulu was arraigned on a four-count charge before the Special Offences (Mobile) Court of Lagos State in the Ikeja Magisterial District.

According to the statement from the state police command, four-count charge were preferred against the Party Organizer at court holden at Oshodi.

The statement reads in part; “The suspect, Ogbulu Chidinma Pearl, was arraigned on a four-count charge of conduct likely to cause a breach of peace, endangering human life by distributing combustible matter in a public gathering, intent to harm another and unlawfully carrying on the business of storage and containerizing petroleum product without a permit.

“The Commissioner of Police reiterates the Command’s commitment to protecting lives and property and further warns citizens against acts capable of endangering human lives,” it said.
