Tunisia Coach, Sports Analyst Outline The Real Reasons Super Eagles Crash Out Of AFCON 2021
Tunisia coach, Mondher Kebaier has outlined the reasons the super eagles of Nigeria could not advance past the round of sixteen at the 2021 African Cup of Nations hosted by Cameroon.
Mondher Kebaier stated that he clipped the Nigerian Super Eagles’ wings by marking its winger, Simon Moses out whom they knew how dangerous he was on the pitch.
Tunisia coach in a post-match conference said, “Today we came up with tactics to put pressure on the Nigerian wingers because they are very dangerous.

“And we also know they have difficulties when they lose the ball.”
The Mondher side will, however, play against Burkina Faso in the quarter-final as Super Eagles return home.
Meanwhile, Nigerians have blamed the poor performance of the super-eagles against Tunisia on the Eagles’ goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye who could not stop the ball from outside the box.

“Msakni’s shot forom outside the box could have been saved if Okoye had concentrated on the ball,” said a sports analyst.
Reacting, the former spokesman to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri scolded President Muhammadu Buhari for Super Eagles poor outings against Tunisia, saying that Buhari’s video chat with Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) officials represented bad luck.

Reno Omokri, before the game, rebuked President Buhari for congratulating the Super Eagles of Nigeria over their outstanding performance at the group stage.
Using Anthony Joshua for example, Omokri alleged that president Buhari is a failure and that whoever he (Buhari) congratulated must encounter failure.
His words; “Oh oh! Why did NFF allow Buhari speak with the Super Eagles players now! What is wrong with NFF?

“Have they forgotten what happened after he spoke to Anthony Joshua? Or our Eagles in the last AFCON? Please we want to win. Who has Buhari spoken to and they won? Our boys need to be focused.
They don’t need any distraction. This nonsense must not repeat itself! If Buhari wants to call anybody, let him call Tinubu. Enough is enough! Akoba adaba Olorun ma je a ri.”
It was said that as soon as President Buhari ended his phone call with the NFF, many Nigerians went to betting centers to ‘stake Tunisia for victory’.
